Major Construction Projects Move Forward at Florida Bases With Passage of NDAA
Nearly $1B in Funding Announced by Florida Senator Moody for Florida Military Bases, to Include Significant Construction Projects

The NDAA includes the authorization of over $851 million for Florida’s installations, as well as funding for expanded shipbuilding to narrow the gap between the U.S. and China, prioritizes construction of the Golden Dome missile defense, securing the Southern Border, improving servicemember quality of life, building upon a successful year of military recruitment efforts, and supporting the delivery of next-generation aircraft. In addition, Senator Moody secured programming and research efforts for the Space Coast and Special Operations Command Headquartered in Tampa.
